In some cases where your water supply is shared with neighbouring premises, the water meter is part of a meter network with one or more submeters. Only submeters installed by the water Wholesaler are used for bill calculations.
Meter Network Details
If applicable to your supply, information about the meter network can be found in the meters section of your bill. This includes serial numbers for the main meter and any associated submeters, along with the calculation of the total volume used for billing.
Usage Calculation
The bill's end date readings are usually estimated based on the most recent available data from each meter within the network. Your bill breaks down the total volume into two categories: Actual Volume (based on meter readings) and Estimated Volume (our estimate since the last visual meter reading). The billed total volume accounts for the difference between the main meter and submeter volumes.
Not Seeing Meter Network Details?
If you're unable to locate details about your meter network in the meters section of your bill, check the "Your Readings" section for any references to "adjusted units."
