How to set up Direct Debit


Log in to the Customer Portal

First, log in to the Customer Portal

Check for Direct Debit Setup Option

If you haven't already set up a Direct Debit for the account you're currently interacting as, you can set one up from the homepage.

Here you'll either see a green plus to set up a Direct Debit, or the date of the next Direct Debit Payment, meaning there's already a Direct Debit set up for this account. Click the green plus to begin setting up the Direct Debit if you see this option (pictured below outlined in red).

 

Complete Online Form (if Authorised)

If you are the account holder and authorised to set up the Direct Debit, complete, validate and submit this online form.

Paper Mandate (If Not Authorised)

If you are not authorised to set up the Direct Debit, or if you are not the only person required to authorise debits from this account, you will need to complete a Direct Debit paper mandate.

Confirmation

Once ready, click the submit button and that’s it, you have now set up a Direct Debit for this account.  

Switching Between Accounts

If you have access to more than one account you can switch to interact as a different account by clicking the Change button, or the Account Number or the Account Name displayed in the navigation panel on the left of screen on the Customer Portal (pictured below outlined in red) and then following the steps above.
